Clay charms!

Well I found another awesome hobby, and thats making cute clay things! 


Michael's has a sale going on and I found a coupon for 50% off ANYTHING in the store.  I saw a pack of 30 clay set for $39.99 and well I thought it was a great deal! So I got it and I started to make clay charms already. I'm going to post some pictures of the clays I got and some of the little clay things I made. I was also thinking of opening an Etsy store and selling some charms on there! 

This is a picture of all the clay that came with the set I got today. I am using a bead container to hold all of the clay.

Macaroon I made I like how this turned out.

This is a bear brown rice ball, I got this inspired from funkypinkgal on youtube. 

And a very very tiny rice ball.

Then of course something nerdy like a triforce!!! 

So that is all I have for pictures and that for now. But I shall be making some sort of blog soon about cosplay. I have to make weapons for my boyfriend and I for Fan Expo! So there will be a blog on that!

Pokemon Nail Tutorial Video!

I just uploaded my first video to my youtube!

I was going to record it on a better camera but the tripod that I have where I am staying at the moment, broke on me so I had to deal with my computer. I just really wanted to get something up on the youtube that was some what related to nerdyness!


I was also thinking of doing video game inspired makeup tutorials as well. Maybe some make up tutorials on basic cosplay looks. Ahh we shall see there is so much that I could do!

Video Games and E3

Hello!

I know this is unrelated to Cosplay and Photography but anyone else watching E3 today and for the next few days?

I'm just watching Microsoft Conference right now on Youtube since I missed it this morning well Lunch time. I've been seeing a lot of bashing on Microsoft...Which is odd since past E3's Xbox is all that people are talking about! But this year fans are not liking it.

Now this is what I was looking forward to seeing, the announcement of Gears Of Wars' new game. This game takes place before Gears Of War 1 and the people who make the game said that they took a survey on characters and just all over about the game, they found out that Baird was the favorite male character out of all the characters. So they is why Baird is the main in this game. But I have to wait till 2013 for this game! A long wait but I can wait!

Now this is not part of E3 but I just got this game and I have been waiting to play this game since the Wii came out. It's been 60 bucks for a long time and I just got this game for 15 bucks! Now I just got to wait another 4 years for the other Zelda to come down in price!

Anime North 2012

Where to start?

Well on the Saturday I was dressed up like Pikachu but it was my own version and man did it take forever to get ready! Well the makeup was difficult to do since I am a perfectionist and had to get the red checks as perfect as I could! Once I was ready to go! I looked like this!

This was after the con I wanted a picture of me incase I couldn't find any of me that was taken at the con!

Once I got there I went right to the media office to get my media pass which was easy and simple, then I was off to the pokemon shoot! I couldn't believe at all the cosplayers! There were so many people! It was awesome, I'm so happy there are still into pokemon as much as I am and will always be for sure!

I got a lot of photos of different cosplayers that I loved or thought that were really cool looking. Here are a few:

I got so many photos I'm still going through them and picking the ones I like then editing some that need a bit of tweaking. I feel bad for the people I did private shoots for I'm not even close to being done! And its been a week since Anime North ended! But I shall get them done soon!!!

Back to Anime North 2012...

The Saturday was INSANE! There was so many people I could barely move around in the dealers room nor get through the dealers room. I was at Anime North for www.toycollector.com to take pictures of toys that they were showing or selling there. So when I was trying to get pictures of toys, it was so difficult since there were so many people I could barely get any good shoots or angles I wanted to be at. But I got a lot of photos and the Sunday was less crowded so it was better to get shoots.

The cosplayers were amazing! I couldn't get over at how many people were cosplaying! I hadn't been to Anime North since 2009 so it's gotten bigger and well known so more cosplayers!

I have to say my favorite part was the Fullmetal Alchemist shoot on the Sunday afternoon. I got to see some great cosplayers from my favorite anime of all time. Here are some photos from that shoot:

I had a blast and I can't wait till Fan Expo at the end of August! I will post some progress pictures for the costumes I'm making for Fan Expo! Can't wait!
