Fan Expo 2012 + Updates!

Fan Expo is my favorite all time convention to go to. There is just so much to do and see, also with all the genres packed into one convention, it makes it more awesome!

I just went to Fan Expo last weekend and man did I have the best time ever! I saw so many people in great costumes, saw very awesome art in the artist alley, also saw some old friends that I hadn't seen in a while. But I have to say the best thing that happened that weekend was seeing the cast of Reviews on The Run/ Electric Playground. I went to their panel on the Saturday (my first panel ever) and it was so funny and some of the questions the fans asked were so interesting and some were a bit odd but what do you expect! I also met a few people from the cast as well and of course I was fan girling and nervous as hell but it was still so awesome!

Now for the photos!

One thing that I didn't like was after the convention how EVERYONE complained about something about Fan Expo. It was one thing that just got me so mad, just because Hobby Star made one mistake with Fan Expo with the North building thing, now everyone just nit picks at EVERY thing. But for the people that wait in lines and don't plan right that's their fault not hobby stars fault. I thought the convention was well planned out, organized and kept everyone moving! Okay I'm done my rant now.

I had a great time and I can't wait till next year!

UPDATES!

I will be attending Ochiba~Con and I have a table with my friend, so I will be selling my charms for the first time! I'm very excited and can't wait to see people buy my charms and love them as much as I do! I just ordered my wig today as well for my next costume that I am hoping to have done for Ochiba~Con!

Hope to see some awesome people, costumes and art at the con!

Toronto Cosplay Picnic 2012!~

Another update!!!

This Saturday on Toronto center island is the cosplay picnic that I haven't attended since 2009! So it's been a while since I have attended and I heard that it has gotten a lot bigger which makes me very happy! This year I will be at the picnic to meet everyone from a facebook group I help run called the GTA Cosplayers, and its the groups official first meet and greet, so I am very excited for that!

I will be cosplaying (of course!) as Super Girl! Since it took so long to make just the shirt I want to wear it more and also who wouldn't want to dress up as a super hero? So yah I assume I will be the only super girl there at the picnic so I won't be that hard to spot.

I will also be selling my charms there as well! First time people will be able to buy them and take them home, love them as much as I love having them and making them. They range in price but they are not as expensive as some people price their clay charms. I've seen people price a little charm at 5-10 dollars and that's just insane to me! So my charms range from 2-5 dollars, I think that the prices are reasonable!

I still have a lot more work as well to get some more charms done and to finish my Silent Hill nurse mask before the weekend, well I would like too!

ConBravo 2012

ConBravo 2012 was my first time attending and I got to say it was fun at some parts. I mean I didn't attend any of the events or the panels since they didn't appeal to me really, but I met so really cool people and saw some great cosplayers!

I wasn't really on my A-game on taking pictures but I think I got some good shots. Here are some!

Assassins Creed

Female versions of Mario

Link

Zach and Yuna

Dinosaur

I also got so many pictures of my costumes and I got some mini shots as well which were fun and awesome! I thank everyone that took a picture of me! I felt like I really did a good job on my costume and I put in a lot of work so my work showed off.

My step mom took this photo before I headed to the con!

I had fun at ConBravo and next time I'm going to be getting a table to sell my charms! So I hope to see some of you next year in the Artist Alley!
